General Membership Meeting After graduating from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, Dr. Dan Hicks completed a small animal internship (WSU) and a 3-year neurology residency (WSU). After becoming board certified in neurology and neurosurgery he began a career as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University. His professional interests include neurosurgery, cervical spondylomyelopathy (Wobblers), and surgical neuro-oncology. Outside of work, Dan enjoys dog training with his wife, doing anything with his son, and running. Dr. Hicks lives happily with four Australian Cattle Dogs and two cats.
